OK Guys well, I have been thinking about this for a long time now, and have decided to put up a Role Playing Tuition board to help others with their Role Playing techniques.
I Have had numerous messages from certain members telling me that they are not at all happy with the way people post, and that even though some are not as advanced a sothers, fail to produce the quality posts that are expected. I cannot ignore these words sadly, as admin, and I have no other option than to take action. I know I have been using the moto 'Quality Not Quantity' on here for a few months now, but have now decided to change that way of thought. If these warnings aren't taken to heed, I have decided I will make it a rule to post at least 100 words in each sentence. Its not particularily thrilling for those who cannot be bothered to post more than a line, but thats life. I personally find it exciting, intersting and generally more fun the longer the posts are.
Anyway, back to the subject. Yes, so there are two ways how to come about this
A) An advanced member { You can fill out a form to try out for Tutor ) will look around the posts to see how everyones doing. If they find anyone that needssomething about their RPing skills enhanced, they will be called to come here for some Tuition.
B) Or the more mature mebers will see themselves that their RPing needs a lot of work and will sensibly decide themselves that they need help from a staff member. They too, will post here.
Next On the Agenda
2A) One of our kind helpful Tutors will patiently and determinedly ask for a sample of their recreation of an Post. They will assess it, and come up with ways to make things better.
After That
3A) The tutee can ask any questions they want before going on to the next step
Then..
4A) The member will be asked to post another post thsi time suing the Tutors tips and ways to make it sound more interesting, more better. They will be commented again, and, if they have come a long way since the start, will be told they have completed the course
5A) Well Done ! You are now a wiz at RPing !
That is basically it in a nutshell, although the steps may change depending on the Tutor. To become a tutor, please fill out the form on the RP Tuition Board. If you wish to be tutored, please post here asking for tuition.
If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask !!
Thank you
