None who have always been free can understand the terrible fascinating power of the hope of freedom to those who are not.
The Field of Spectrum Sunlight-- A Seemingly Contradictory Oxymoron at night. The stars that have led me away from my past kiss the sea of grass before me. The darkness, it does not envelop me the way it had for so long. I did not wish to hide in the shadows any longer.
A strange feeling started from my hoofs, and worked its way up to the tips of my ears. It tickled me, excited me, caused all of my stomachs to take up acrobats. It got my heart into ballet, and my soul into impudence. It was a bold feeling. A feeling, I think, of Liberty.
Liberty and Freedom. I am FREE.
I let out a shrill whinney to all those with ears. "I cannot believe I just made that incredible noise," I whispered to myself.
All the days of running, oppression, and stress. All this time, I had been too afraid of the dinn I was capable of. Long days I waited for the sun to sleep so I could continue my quest, making sure that I did not make any noise, for fear of capture once more. I feared they would hear me, awaking in the night for a high-speed chase. Force me back to the metaphorical fiery furnace.
I shook off my thoughts; They were ominous, dwelling on something that should not be considered as of now. Freedom means noise. I nodded with deliberation. "Hello World of Lights."
Ears back, I remembered: Normal horses SLEEP at night. Oops!
But what if I am tracked here? A looming thought darted forward in my mind, echoing inside of me. I must be more cautious. Two mistakes within only a few minutes.
What if I am tracked here?? The thought returned, more pressing this time. "I can trust no one," I whispered, replying to it as if it weren't inside of my head, but right in front of me.
I may be free, but that does not mean I will not be followed.
I stepped back, allowing the Dark to Encompass me once more. I Was CAMOFLAUGED, hidden from sight. Waiting to see what my inept rashness would bring.

Golden heard the neigh of another and trotted to where the mare had been just before. Sniffing around she listened for any movement.

Eyes wide and ears back, I crept in the shadows, inching away from the mare.
I trust few. It may be due to my past, but still, few can be trusted. And I was not ready to trust another total stranger.
I kept to the shadows, the way that I did the night I left my herd. Thinking of that night always puts me into reverie, as it did tonight... The calm serenity of our herd standing in a large, huddle-like pose... The moon hidden behind a cloud... I welcomed the dusk that day, and have ever since. The creeping, like now, silently and surrupticious, slinking into the surrounding trees. With the feeling of escape on my muzzle, I felt like a stone dropping off of our promontory, Hearing the cries of alarm. I DID escape--barely.
My mistake? The cloud, the dark curtain upon the moon, had moved. And I was sillouetted against its luminous reflection. I ghasped as I realized-- I had made the same mistake twice. I was now sillouetted against the sky.
But should I run? Feeling like a deer in the headlights, I scarsely moved. What will she do? Is she a friend? Is it time a make a few more? My thoughts scared me as much as my predicament did. I wanted to make friends with a total stranger-- One that could easily double cross me.
But still, my nagging want of friends could not be stifled. "Hello?" My voice was shakey, but clear.

Golden spotted the mare and walked slowly towards her. "Hello to you too, I am Golden." she said bowing her head.

"I am Star," I replied laconnically.
I watched her actions closely, ready for a kick or a bite. Something that I was Once sure that it would ensue. But now, after meeting Stazeal, I've learned that the entire Earth is not out to hurt you.
"Are you safe?" I felt audacious, asking this question impudently. A small smile lit my face, giving a facetious impression, though I was serious.

"Do you mean if I am going to hurt you or not? because I am a Light, I hurt noone unless they hurt me." said Golden also smiling.

There was that word again-- LIGHT. "I, too, have been told by the Decider of Fates that I was light," I poorly attempted to reveal more about me. "I must be where I belong?" My last sentence was more of a question than a sentence.
(OOC: Blah, I'm getting a little lazy. It's been a long day...)

"So you are also Light." said Golden smiling. "I would like to know why are you here?" (don't worry I am usually lazy)

"Why do you ask?" I reply, forcing a smile as well, uncomfortable by the question.
The question makes me ponder my past once more. It is paralleled with it... THey both alienate me...
(Ah... Lazy again...)

"I want to know because after all this is my land." said Golden shaking her head to get her forelock to bahave.

The wind toyed with my mane, uneasiness creeping in. I wished to obey the wind, to run with it. to escape.
Her reply was also unnerving-- This was her land. I sighed shakily, watching her, making no reply.
Her land. That is what she said. Streak, also, would use those words. Did that make them allies?
Shaky, I began, "...I should go..."
Taking a hesitant step away from the mare, I was ready to flee from the Spectrum.
But another thought held me back. There's no where else to go. I've run from home, I've run from Streak. I've arrived, and Stazeal sent me here. If I shan't be here, then where?
The answer was in the wind-- Stazeal knows where I should be. I am ready to depart. But what would this horse do? Would she persue? I was hesitant to move.

Golden watched her and then shook her mane again.

"You are an ally of Streak." I asserted, assuming the connection had meaning.
Bolting for the cover of the trees, I feared this horse, the one who calls herself Golden. Trust has not yet nesled itself back into my soul, and I had yet to learn the meaning of Light.
I was certain she'd chase me, hurt me, and subdue me the way most high-speed chases ended. Thoughts raced through my mind as did the ground under my feet. Is she faster than me? Would she hurt me? Try to kill me? Would I be able to keep up my pace? Will I make it out before losing my freedom once again?
But two questions stood out above all-- Why did the reason I am here matter to her? Why am I here?
The last question made me shiver, losing speed. Everything in my past lapsed into this one moment. Running from Streak, running from Streak's leads, fleeing my past, my life my home. A tear fell from my face, thinking bitterly of all that has happened before I came here.
"Everywhere I go is an Utter disappointment!" I yell to the wind, streaking across the Spectrum.
I am hurting inside of me. Life cannot go on like this. Still, freedom lingers ahead of me, giving me hope and a new life. Hopefully, I will reach it someday.

(who is Streak?) Golden watched her take of and once she could no longer see her went back to Spirit who was resting in the grass.
"Who was that?" he asked looking up at Golden.
"I think she said her name was Star." said Golden lying down next to Spirit.

(Streak is a figure from her past, her stallion. Her past haunts her, marking her and rendering her Highly Paranoid. I was kinda hoping you'd chase her, but I guess not... I'm not sure if I want her to go back to Stazeal, but hey...)
